Marine Rubber Fenders

Pre-drilled marine rubber dock bumpers packaged on pallets for industrial export and logistics.

Engineered Impact Protection Systems

Marine rubber fenders serve as high-performance energy-absorbing barriers installed between vessels and marine or shoreline infrastructure. Engineered to dampen berthing impacts and control reaction forces, these heavy-duty rubber bumpers prevent severe structural damage to both vessel hulls and quay walls during docking, berthing, and cargo handling operations.

Specializing in industrial marine rubber fender manufacturing, Rubbersan produces standard and custom extruded rubber fenders tailored to exact project specifications. Our comprehensive profile range includes D-type, corner, cylindrical, square, and rectangular geometries, each formulated from marine-grade rubber compounds and delivered ready for installation with custom lengths, factory pre-drilling, and mitred jointing.

Infrastructure & Sector Applications

  • Ports, Harbours & Marine Infrastructure: Quay walls, jetties, wharves, bridge piers, and floating pontoons.
  • Vessel Protection Fenders & Workboats: Tugs, barges, commercial vessels, marina docks, and bow impact buffers.
  • Industrial & Logistics Facilities: Industrial rubber dock bumpers for loading bays, warehouse platforms, and transport ramps.
  • Energy & Offshore Structures: FSO/FPSO platforms, offshore mooring points, and floating marine installations.

Profile Geometries & Engineering Capabilities

Assorted extruded D-type and corner marine rubber fenders showing different profile cross-sections.
  • D-Type Rubber Fenders: Featuring a solid square outer profile paired with a hollow internal D-chamber for progressive energy absorption along continuous berth walls.
  • Corner Type Fenders: Specialized corner dock bumpers engineered to protect 90° masonry edges, marina corners, and vessel bows against both lateral shear and head-on impacts.
  • Cylindrical, Square & Rectangular Profiles: Heavy-duty rubber bumpers designed for versatile, high-load impact protection across commercial docks and industrial facilities.
  • Custom Extruded Rubber Fenders: Fully customized geometries engineered from client technical drawings to match precise load ratings and architectural specs.
  • Engineered Rubber Compounds: High-elasticity SBR, EPDM, and natural rubber formulations engineered for rapid structural recovery following heavy impact cycles.
  • Customizable Hardness Grades: Shore A hardness adjusted to exact energy absorption requirements (e.g., 75±5 Shore A).

Operational Advantages & Environmental Durability

  • Wide Thermal Range: Maintains mechanical stability and elasticity across operational environments from -30°C to +110°C.
  • Harsh Environment Resistance: Exceptional resistance to saltwater corrosion, direct UV degradation, and long-term weathering.
  • Chemical & Oil Stability: Formulated for prolonged exposure in oily port environments and polluted waterways.
  • Ozone Resistance: Tested and certified crack-resistant under ISO 1431-1 Method A.
  • Extended Service Life: Superior resistance to fatigue, tearing, and permanent mechanical deformation under repeated heavy berthing loads.

Fabrication & On-Site Installation Options

All port & harbour fendering systems are supplied ready for immediate on-site mounting. Profiles can be precision-cut to custom project lengths (indicated by the CST SKU designation). Factory pre-drilling is fully customizable to project blueprints—typical engineering configurations include Ø50 mm countersunk upper mounting holes for flush bolt placement and minimum Ø26 mm lower passage holes, both held to strict hole tolerances of ±1 mm. For continuous perimeter protection around masonry corners, precision-mitred joints are fabricated directly in-factory. Complete, corrosion-resistant mounting hardware kits—featuring marine-grade stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized fixings—can be supplied with each system order. Rubbersan manufactures marine rubber fenders strictly to project specifications, combining proven rubber compounding with tailored manufacturing capabilities.
