Rubber Floor Sheets

Continuous Rubber Flooring for Surface Protection and Anti-Slip Safety

Rubber floor sheets are vulcanised rubber flooring products supplied as continuous rolls and flat sheets, ranging from 1mm to 8mm in thickness. They provide a non-porous, anti-slip surface for facility floors exposed to moisture, chemicals, and regular foot or animal traffic.

Made from a vulcanised natural and synthetic rubber blend, these sheets form a hydrophobic moisture barrier across the full surface. This structure resists urine, cleaning chemicals, and general contamination, making the material suitable for both industrial and animal-facing environments.

Thickness is selected according to load and wear conditions. Thinner continuous rubber flooring rolls suit general walkway protection, while non-porous rubber floor sheets toward the upper 8mm range are specified for higher-traffic or transport applications.

Key Application Areas

Stacked textured rubber floor sheets for heavy-duty industrial anti-fatigue flooring.
  • Industrial facility walkways and production floor protection
  • Livestock transport vehicle flooring
  • Dog kennels and small animal housing
  • Veterinary clinic flooring
  • Washdown areas and wet-process zones
  • General surface protection over concrete or tiled subfloors

Structural Formats and Material Features

  • Continuous rubber flooring rolls: Available from 1mm to 8mm thickness
  • Flat sheet format: Designed for custom cut-to-size installation
  • Non-porous rubber floor sheets: Sealed construction limiting fluid absorption
  • Hydrophobic rubber sheeting: Engineered surface for moisture control
  • Anti-slip textured patterns: Multiple surface choices for wet-area safety
  • Smooth surface option: Suitable for low-traffic or lining applications

Operational Benefits

  • Hydrophobic moisture barrier prevents fluid penetration into the subfloor.
  • Anti-slip rubber floor rolls reduce slip risk in washdown and transport areas.
  • Noise dampening properties reduce impact sound on hard subfloors.
  • Resistance to urine and common cleaning chemicals supports hygiene routines.
  • Non-porous surface simplifies daily cleaning and disinfection.
  • Durable wear layer maintains surface integrity under repeated traffic.

Application and Laying Guidelines

Subfloors should be clean, dry, and level before laying rubber floor sheets. Rolls should be unrolled and allowed to acclimatise before cutting or fixing to reduce edge curling. Sheets can be loose-laid, adhered, or mechanically fixed depending on traffic load and installation area. Routine cleaning with standard detergents maintains surface hygiene without affecting the material, in line with Rubbersan’s rubber flooring manufacturing standards.
